The Fourth Amendment, SMS Version

Someone asked me once about why I am so interested in seeing the fourth Amendment updated to cover us in the electronic age and all that "secure your identity" kind of thing. Well, to start the new year off right - for your reading pleasure, Here is the fourth amendment. SFW
The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized

Ever had that person at work , that is stealing blog pages from you and using them in their own anklebiting way to undermine you? Ever had thousands of junk mail arrive shortly after taking out a subscription or hitting a web page where you registered - and the people there decided it was time to move in and take over your email account since you did? These people, in my view, are violating your constitutional rights. You have the right to blog. Spam is a violation of your papers and effects, electronic or otherwise.

And over the past six years, in the unbridled corruption of the Bush Republicans the biggest expansion of governmental control has taken place - their hands over their hearts, as 30,000 National Security Letters have been sent to companies all over the world to find out each and every transaction you make, your phone calls, your blog, and feed it into the largest database in the history of the world. Tailor made for the new communist state.

It is quite the case that, ATM, big Bush Republican government - is stationing their mercenary troops right in your living room, your wallet, your purse, your computer - your effects are theirs.

The Fourth Amendment should be updated to read as follows:

The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, effects, and electronic anonymity, identity, global position, or intellectual property against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized

Your challenge: write the SMS version of this. Use only your thumbs on the keyboard, and make sure to include at least one smile :-)

A Constitutional amendment is untenable. But some legislation would be nice. Part of my "person" now is digital and, sadly, most of my sex life is online. :)
