The Republican Debate 3/3/2016 - Thoughts and Conversation

There is something very important you need to learn about ideology. The way that ideology is sold and delivered, is alot different than the way you think it is transmitted. You were taught that ideology means big block letters, soviet work posters saying all hands for socialism now. But as a Democratic Socialist (huge difference from socialism. huge! ) we know that ideology is actually delivered in human moments. Tonight's delivery was life or death for the news media entertainment criminals, and this last republican debate was a crucial one for a news media entertainment channel to succeed in their attempt to define and manipulate the race. The front runner in their debate constantly talked about polls, and how they were so important. If you listen to a clip called "morning joe" you can hear the front runner saying just how important he thinks the polls are. But Bernie Sanders teaches us that polls go up, polls go down, the issues are what's important. Tonight, the most important issue for this news media entertainment channel - that employed many news media entertainmers - to establish and deliver their ideological point. It came in the context of an internecine, or kind of mutually destructive debate - and you might have thought it was the moment when these hosts asked those on the debate stage to pledge their allegiance to the Republican party. And of course, each one did so. But this is wrong. You may have thought of the moment where the reporter put numbers up on the screen that the front runner casually ignored, but even this ignorance of fact and continued adherence to talking point was not the point at which payload delivery was to occur. The most important point of their coverage was when they put the fatherly figure on, and he spoke with honesty, and integrity to the camera and he said , in a quaint, calm tone that this country just doesn't want to be a socialist country. That's the moment they delivered their ideology. It was an interesting point, in the coverage - a post debate analysis where the objective reporting would have required the reporter to state that there is only one candidate that actually has the support of the American people - and he states that there is an uprising, but then he calmly looks to the camera and does a cool and clean maneuver - the idea that there is something sinister about a government that actually works for its people, and the matter of fact homeliness in which he disregards the will of the people , for the idea that such an uprising is led by a billionaire. And this is why there is a dynamic evolving for republicans who are tired of the establishment, but would have voted for a qualified establishment candidate - to switch to Hillary Clinton, and for those who feel the need to stand up against corrupt oligarch billionaires to be totally conned into believing that a monstrously corrupt oligarch billionaire would be representing their interests. It's a moment of calm, and peace, and confidence where you feel a certain trust to the news media entertainer, and he takes you in and lets you identify with his failing brand. And then you can walk away with some new and secret knowledge that you'd never be a Democratic Socialist, because after all, you'd never be a Socialist, right? You want to be united, don't you? You love your country, right? You love your news media entertainer, right? And so the ideological payload is delivered. But it's false. It's a lie. It's how a branding strategy can deliver , to a billionaire - an election and it's how an entire party can be conned into believing that it has as its front runner a qualified person simply because he hits the right tone without any of the notes. So, as we move forward from Super Tuesday, with Bernie Sanders in 405 delegates and Hillary in 590 delegates , with 15 states counted and 35 left to go, most of which are much more strongly voting for Bernie than Hillary - and there is only one candidate on either side , be it republican or democrat, who has the support of the American people -and only the support of the American people - you will have the quiet, calm take away that yes, there is a Santa Claus. And a tooth fairy. And a giant, invisible being that guides your every move. And Angels are real. And of course, Billionaires don't actually pay for your personal data and use it against you. But you are meeting me here, and you will note a careful use of the words in this post - one that simply names one candidate only. Bernie Sanders. Because I am trying to help you find the truth. Donald Drumpf, on the other hand, is paying to have each and every thing you say raked over and analyzed and sent to him.. And as we watch the cracks form in his foundation and we realize that his message of uprising is an attempt to co opt the Bernie Sanders revolution, we finally understand. And let's be clear. This is a movement that embodies the highest principle of conservatism. Let me share something else with you. Bernie used ideology as well. You may not have noticed it, but he delivered it to you where you were asking for it - he answered the ideological ,philosophical and theological question in a way that presumed you were listening very, very carefully. Do you remember what he said, when he was asked about Faith? ...So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the law and the prophets.’ That is the golden rule. Do to others what you would have them do to you." .. he said that his sense of what happens to you, to me, to another person - is what happens to him, and that sense of being connected - is what he feels as his faith. That we are all in it together. .... This , on the face of it , sounds like a secular expression of faith. But it is something more. Because as Thomas Jefferson once wrote - that government that governs the best, is that government that governs the least. ... Bernie is in touch with a higher form of dealing with people that we are all used to ... and we need to establish a context for his quote to separate the delivery vehicle from its payload and take apart the hidden ideology in that statement. . And well hidden it is, for it speaks to the highest form of conservative principle - the kind that allows progressives and libertarians alike to unite. For in fact, Bernie Sanders quoted something that, as a magazine editor, I was once very, very familiar with - a little subversive rag I helped publish in San Francisco when I was in college was founded upon the writings of the man whose statement and ideology echoed through his words and you had to listen carefully to catch it. Did you? It was delivered in the same calm voice, with the same level of trust. But it was a statement of American individualism, and democratic socialist self rule. It was an anthem that every strong libertarian knows by heart.

"Unity is the great goal toward which humanity moves irresistibly. But it becomes fatal, destructive of the intelligence, the dignity, the well-being of individuals and peoples whenever it is formed without regard to liberty, either by violent means or under the authority of any theological, metaphysical, political, or even economic idea. That patriotism which tends toward unity without regard to liberty is an evil patriotism, always disastrous to the popular and real interests of the country it claims to exalt and serve. Often, without wishing to be so, it is a friend of reaction – an enemy of the revolution... .the emancipation of nations and men. "

And Bernie's not quite done yet. Because he's also echoing these words...

"The liberty of every individual is only the reflection of his own humanity, or his human right through the conscience of all free men, his brothers and his equals.

I can feel free only in the presence of and in relationship with other men. In the presence of an inferior species of animal I am neither free nor a man, because this animal is incapable of conceiving and consequently recognizing my humanity. I am not myself free or human until or unless I recognize the freedom and humanity of all my fellowmen.

Only in respecting their human character do I respect my own. ...
I am truly free only when all human beings, men and women, are equally free. The freedom of other men, far from negating or limiting my freedom, is, on the contrary, its necessary premise and confirmation."

Do you feel it? The glow from those words. We call it feeing the Bern. It is a glow of a great revolutionary, long gone - who once wrote of the fundamental nature of man, to state - and of the ability of mankind to self rule. It is what a true libertarian - not one who simply wears his libertarianism as a beard to cover his republicanism - holds dear to his heart and these are words that you should repeat to yourself every day. Because when you need these words, they will be there for you - they will give you courage. For these are the words of Michael Bakunin, the Father of Modern Anarchy. And it has been said, in fact, by Winston Churchill in an off moment - and others as well - that perhaps Anarchy is merely Democracy taken seriously. But certainly these elements of self rule, of being responsible for yourself - and of developing an immunity to the toxic ideology of our country - the constant rattling chain, the drumbeat against you , the jackboot of authority on your neck - the constant theft from your resources of life, of liberty - of freedom - the destruction you feel in your soul... it is these words, not the words of the news media entertainer, or those on a debate stage paid to mouth the words of a corporate overlord, or even the corporate overlord himself, at center stage, noble and golden... it is the words of Michael Bakunin that help us to define Democratic Socialism. And so, hopefully, you can see. There is a huge difference between this, and collectivizing all means of production and having the state own all businesses.

And you should be proud to be a Democratic Socialist. Because you have finally identified that you can break free of your own government. That you do not give that government the right to label you or to put you in a little box. That you give no government over you any rights whatsoever other than the right to properly count your vote, and hear your voice, and listen to your direction. You are in charge of this revolution. You are the one who decides what happens next. So, I request to you in the name of peace, that you vote. You vote for whom you feel in your heart. If your heart is full of brass and glass and freeze dried steaks and black and gold glittering underwear, then vote for the person who sells you these things, and be educated in the university of his knowledge. I will not stop you from doing that. I will , however, stop that person who is not sincere in his love for our country, from ever gaining hand of control of the nuclear weapons arsenal of America. There are candidates on either side of the aisle that I feel strongly should not be allowed to have the power to aim or fire our atomic fusion missile system. Bernie Sanders, with his careful approach to war and his sincere judgement, is the only person I would trust with that dark responsibility. He passes the background check.

Let this message of mine , as humble as it may be, encourage you to use the vast resources of this great and public internet, which I have fought to maintain for you - and kept from having sites who were possibly feared to deliver the information that I have written to you - or were designated by those evil opponents of network neutrality to have thought it right to charge you extra simply to see - and know that the great and vast public internet is a storehouse of real information, and a way of deciding your vote honestly, and objectively. If you wish to join a campaign that has taken no money whatsoever other than your own, and for which your voice will be guaranteed to be heard - if you feel that government should be of the people, by the people, and for the people, then visit BernieSanders.com but know that he is only our leader. We are the revolution. Wikipedia isn't half bad , either , but know that there are strategies in search engines right now to put the wrong results before you so pay attention to your searches and don't just click on the first one - there's a technique in search engine optimization that fools the engine into believing the result is correct. And of course, the billionaire oligarch has his black octopus tentacle on that keyboard that ultimately ends up just bothering the good people at Google, who have to keep re-engineering their search engine to make it real again. Yet another hidden cost of having them slithering across our country without check or balance.

But you are still the reason everything happens. Ultimately, your vote counts. Even if you think your state will go in another direction. In every minute of every second of every day that you grow stronger, they grow weaker, and your power will one day extend to change the entire Country. They cannot stop you. So they will mine your conversations, and attempt to discover what you are saying. Fine. Let this graph below , be a warning that billionaires have already broken into your cellphone, and are reading your messages. They are touchy about being discovered, but just look at this graph that rakes through everything you say and analyzes it not to hear what you wish from government - but rather , what they can say at any given moment that will distort and pull upon your heart string, so that you will be inclined to believe their story - and know that the story will change. Know that if you vote for someone who knowingly lies to you , that by their fruits ye shall know them - and that they will slowly come into your view as someone who has betrayed your trust. And it's ok to have made a mistake. I make mistakes. Lots of mistakes. HUGE mistakes. I am happy to report that I have people around me who remind me of this every day. Well maybe not so happy but at least I can catch some of them. I'm certainly not surrounded with "yes" men. My world has to touch the real world, or I could not reach out through these glowing electrons to touch you.

I try my best to do the right thing, and so should you. There is no hidden agenda. Vote however you want. This is not a post that comes from anything other than my own heart, from me to you - I whisper in your ear and warn you of coming danger, my brother. And my sister.

You might have unfriended me, and blocked me, but I have been writing and setting up rough drafts on facebook and it bothered me that Facebook farmed my work and stripped out the names of things to give them over to billionaires. It bothered me always, that there is a company taking everything you say, and selling it to a news media entertainment company, or a billionaire? And what motive would they have to make sure you thought that the one person who could undo them - I'm as you might well have guessed talking about Bernie. Again. But really more about how I can help you and I both become better, stronger people.
