Out of Shape

It's unbelievable how, starting from dead zero - completely out of shape you feel when you first get on the bike. You feel like you're completely tired. And then you get going and feel better, but really only after about 5 miles or so. Wow.

I got injured today, but it wasn't related to the training. I tried to bunnyhop my mountain bike up onto a curb and landed flat and the sharp edge of a gear bit into my inner thigh. Kind of lame.

Feel alot better having gotten out there and actually trained. Its been way too long.
